Large Blooms, Quiet Calm: How Schumacher Pyne Hollyhock in Indigo Fills a Room

Classic Hollyhocks in Indigo Blue

Schumacher Pyne Hollyhock in Indigo is a large-scale chintz floral—navy and cobalt blooms on a light ground. It reads as traditional and polished, not busy. Use it above wainscoting in a dining room, wrap a powder room, or paper a window seat so the pattern peeks through a Roman shade.

Live on the shop: $409.50 per single roll, order minimum 2 single rolls, SKU 5006922. Each roll is 4.5 yards. The wallcovering is paper substrate. Schumacher paper removes cleanly with proper prep when it is time to change.

Specs That Matter on Install Day

Roll width 27”. Vertical repeat 47.5”. Horizontal repeat 27”. Match: half drop.

Plan the layout before the first cut. A half-drop floral this tall wants a clear starting point and enough waste for pattern match. Order a $3 memo sample to check the indigo in your own light before you commit to full rolls.

Same pattern, softer palette: Pyne Hollyhock in Grisaille ($409.50 / single roll). For another blue-and-white statement floral, see Chiang Mai Dragon in China Blue ($724.50 / single roll). Prefer a floral stripe with a smaller vertical repeat? Hydrangea Drape in Delft is $299.25 per single roll.
